Experience the magic of Fall, one trail at a time
Crisp air, golden larches, and the crunch of leaves
underfoot—fall is the perfect time to hit the trail with
Missoula Movers Plus! Designed for adults aged 55 ,
this seasonal hiking series offers a fun and social way to
explore Missoula’s beautiful trails while staying active
and engaged.
Our guided hikes are paced for comfort, not speed, and
highlight some of Western Montana’s most scenic spots
as they burst into fall color. Each week brings a new
trail and a new opportunity to connect with nature and
fellow hikers.
Led by knowledgeable Parks and Recreation staff,
Missoula Movers Plus is ideal for anyone looking to
enjoy the outdoors in a supportive and relaxed setting.
What to expect
• 2 hours of guided hiking on moderate trails with
uneven terrain.
• Trailside conversation, community, and beautiful
views.
• Routes chosen for fall foliage and accessibility.
• Frequent rest breaks and plenty of time to enjoy the
scenery.
• 1–1.5 hours of driving, round trip.
What to bring
• Sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots.
• Layered clothing for changing weather.
• Water bottle and snack.
• Hat, gloves, and walking poles (if desired).
Transportation provided; pre-registration required at
least 24 hours in advance.
