The Clay Studio of Missoula welcomes Pocatello, Idaho based ceramic artist Chris Pickett for a solo exhibition in September. His functional works elicit physical and psychological comfort through their generous volumes and soft surfaces.

Chris received his BFA from the University of Tennessee and his MFA from the University of Florida. Chris served as a long-term Resident Fellow at the Archie Bray Foundation from 2012 to 2014, and was the Barbara Rittenberg Fellow at the Clay Art Center in Port Chester, NY from 2015-2016. Chris serves as an Assistant Professor of Art at Idaho State University.

Chris Pickett: Some Assembly Required will be on display at the Clay Studio of Missoula from September 6-27, 2019, with an opening on Friday, September 6 from 5:30-9pm. Gallery events are free and open to the public.
