Botanical Dyeing Workshop

County Rail Farm
I am so excited to announce that I will be leading a Botanical Dyeing Workshop as a collaboration with Field Five Flowers and County Rail Farm!

Socially distant and Covid-safe.
We will use flowers grown organically and foraged at the farm to dye a 21x21 silk scarf and a natural fiber magic treasure cloth. You’ll learn different types of plant pigments and how to use them, how to prepare different fabrics for dying, and bundling techniques to achieve various results.
This event will be held on Saturday, August 15th, from 4-7PM
I will provide all materials (mordants, fabric, plants), County Rail will provide us with delicious fresh noms and homemade bread with Hindu Hillbilly honey. For a little extra, enjoy a wine and/or herbal shrub beverage by @tellurictobones
$90, plus $10 for beverages. Venmo Christina-Armetta to reserve your spot! Please include your email in your payment.
