Join Missoula Parks and Recreation and community partners on Friday, August 14 from 1-3 p.m. at the Boone and Crockett Club parking lot to celebrate a successful first year of our city’s new Clark Fork River access sites. Attendees can pick up a free ice cream cup while supplies last courtesy of the Missoula Downtown Foundation. At 2 p.m., join Parks and Recreation and the Missoula River Ambassadors for a tour of the river access sites. Hear about efforts to restore and create sustainable routes to the river for safe and responsible recreation and the valley-wide efforts to promote responsible river recreation.
