Campers enrolled in this camp will have the chance to learn how to become efficient, safe, and more confident lead climbers. This camp will walk campers through some of the basics of outdoor climbing (gear management, flaking ropes, communication) while introducing them proper techniques and strategies for lead climbing. Students will be taught proper clipping techniques, how to create a top rope anchor, and how to clean a route. This camp will conclude with a 3-day/2-night trip to climb on the granite walls of Q'Emiln Park in Post Falls, ID. Tuition assistance available for eligible families!



Climbing experience is encouraged, but not required. Sussex will provide all required gear for this camp.
