Auditions for AQD's next show: Galatea by David Templeton, a science fiction exploration of what it means to be human in a world of rapidly advancing technology.

Available Roles:
-DR. MARGARET MAILER: Female-presenting, 35-75 years old in appearance. Therapist employed by the Institute for Robotic Technology. She is intelligent, professional, and compassionate. Must be comfortable with technical language.
-SEVENTY-ONE: Female-presenting, 18-30 in appearance. Synthetic sole survivor of the starship Galatea. Must be comfortable with using technical language.
-DR. HUGHES: Male-presenting, 35-65 years old in appearance. Coordinator of deep space search and rescue. Warm and friendly, with a keen social intelligence. Always ready with a dad joke.
-A CASTAWAY: Male-presenting, 25-45 in appearance. Synthetic found adrift on a derelict ship full of dead organics and some unusual cargo. Must be comfortable with technical language. Movement training a plus, but not required. Must be able to subtly convey an internal life without the luxury of normal human mannerisms.

Must be available for performances 11/7-11/10 and for rehearsals evenings and weekends beginning mid-September.
