The Confluence Center (Western Montana's Home for Nonprofit Events) art program Torrents is thrilled to present a magical evening of art and community! This month we proudly present a group exhibition by VonCommon Studios entitled Throwback.
This unique exhibition invites you to revisit and reminisce on the past and what that means to the individual. Featuring seventeen local artists, including several members of VonCommon:
Lady Pajama, Jessie Smith, Sage Fris, Freedom Drudge, Michele Angelique Ernst, Bridey O’Brien, Stephen Wojcik, Julee Hall, Lauren Grove, Christian Palmer, Grace Lawless, Taylor Stein, Sharon Seals, Crystal Cave, Justin Matousek, Madison, Seipp, and Courtney Blazon.
You can expect to explore a diverse array of artwork, create a zine with resident VonCommon artist Ladypajama, and revel in the spirit of the past while listening to the musical stylings of Wailing Aaron Jennings.
A portion of all art sale proceeds will support VonCommon Studios’ ongoing mission to help artists have an affordable place to create art and be a part of the Missoula art community. We hope you’ll join us at the Confluence Center for an evening of artistic exploration and philanthropic impact.
The opening will take place First Friday, August 2nd at the Confluence Center at 119 W Main St, Missoula, MT, and run 5-8pm. Free snacks and drinks provided, plus visit the Deli Arepas food truck out back for refreshments. The exhibit will remain on display through July 27th, and can be seen by appointment through the Center: 406-926-6526
