Class Experience: In this camp, kids will build self-esteem together through music exploration. Regardless of musical experience, campers will form a band, write an original song, and perform at the ZACC showroom the Friday of camp. Campers will also meet great local musicians, learn about music history, attend songwriting clinics, talk about stage presence, create flyers for their upcoming show, design a band logo and screen T-shirts, and more. Part of the goal of the camp will be to create a safe, welcoming space for kids to spend quality time together, build relationships, and find their creative, rocking voice!
Class Requirements: This camp is for students aged 8+. We cannot make exceptions for younger students and will unenroll those who are below the minimum age. Our age ranges are set to benefit the learning outcomes of the group. Thank you for understanding
