Radius Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition by the incomparable Lillian R. Nelson, with paintings inspired by that landmark of Western culture: Grimm's fairy tales. These new works pay homage to the power of storytelling, and explore the perhaps misguided (but certainly time- honored) hypothesis that children can be frightened into good behavior. Nelson never fails to delight us with work that is brilliantly conceived and superbly rendered.
