Keep Missoula Housed is a 501 (c)(3) local charity with a mission to support Western Montana families by offering housing assistance due to an emergency or financial crisis.

On any given night in Missoula more than 600 families & individuals sleep on the streets, in their cars, or in a shelter. We exist to prevent this. Aiming to keep people in their homes, preventing houselessness before it occurs.

From families, to Veterans, the elderly and everyone in between - anyone can find themselves in an unforeseen situation that threatens their ability to pay their housing payment.

We provide one-time, funding for a variety of housing-related needs, including: Rent / Mortgage payments, Security deposits, Utility bills, Emergency hotel stays, etc.

The current housing crisis has amplified the need in our community for housing support, and our organization. Unfortunately, the elevated demand on our resources has us forced to implement a waitlist much of the year due to a lack of funding. Causing us to lean on our community members’ support more than ever before.
