Summer camps at the Clay Studio of Missoula are a fantastic way for young people to get creative! Each camp is a week-long art studio experience where kids get to be inspired by different broad themes to explore the massive world of ceramic arts with. Kids will be guided by a teaching artist who will show them the foundational techniques of clay. Beginners are welcome at all age ranges, and return students are always welcome!

Clay Around the World explores how ceramics has emerged differently all around the world. We’ll look at cultural ceramics like Talavera from Mexico, Majolica from Italy, and many others, and create fun projects inspired by the rich traditions we learn about!
