Many northwest plains tribes in Montana use tipis for shelter. How these tipis were decorated was, and is, very important in the cultures of those tribes. Today we will learn the anatomy of a tipi and then decorate our own, drawing inspiration from traditional Blackfoot tipi design and Paul Goble's book, Storm Maker's Tipi.
