Fort Missoula Native Plant Garden Volunteer Days
3:00 PM (America/Denver)
Fort Missoula Native Plant Garden
Description:
Whether you are a seasoned native plant gardener or just looking to spend time outside, we are looking for volunteers to help manage the Fort Missoula Native Plant Garden.

We need help weeding (mostly grasses), but also thinning some golden currant, snowberry, and chokecherry that could go to good homes (that is, your homes)!

We will not be providing any equipment so if you would like to use gardening gloves or tools please bring your own from home. There are also no restrooms at the garden so please plan ahead and finally, please bring a mask to work in.

Come learn about native plants and wildlife gardening, while helping care for this 20-year-old teaching garden near the giant silver water tower and the banks of the Bitterroot River. Kids welcome.
Hope to see you there!
