Forage NatureCraft Summer Camp

Learning With Meaning
Forage NatureCraft Summer Camp Description:
Nature can provide us with everything we need, as long as we know where to look! This week will focus on plants we can gather and vessels we can use to gather. What can we eat? What can help us to heal? How can we make tools from materials in the forest? Wanna make wild dyes and then dye a t-shirt? Or how about making a wild medicine kit for yourself? How about foraging and processing enough wild food to make a feast for the group? Wanna make a basic quickie longbow? We will work on our knife and carving skills during this camp, working with a variety of wood sources. Walk away with a usable hand-carved utensil or a quickie bow! Campers will also learn about responsible harvesting and how we can give back to the land.

Age Groups: 3rd-5th Grade, 6th Grade

Camps are 5 days a week for $325 or daily for $80. Camps run 9:30-3:30 with before and after care available at $15 a session.
