Missoula's best and only 4th of July fireworks show is at Southgate Mall! Due to COVID-19, this event will look a little different this year. The Southgate Mall team has been working with city officials to create a safe environment for our community members to enjoy the fireworks.

After careful thought and consideration, Southgate Mall has made the decision to continue with plans to hold the fireworks show on Saturday, July 4. However, for the safety and well-being of everyone, community members are invited to enjoy the fireworks from other locations, as the Southgate Mall parking lot will be closed to the public after 6:00 p.m. on July 4. Guests will not be permitted to view the fireworks from the Southgate Mall premises.

The fireworks display, Western Montana’s largest, will begin at 10:30 p.m. on July 4, along with choreographed music that can be streamed on Mountain 102.5 FM radio or at Mountain1025.com via mobile devices. Also, a live broadcast of the fireworks will be available at Facebook.com/NBCMontana, courtesy of KECI.

Southgate Mall and the City of Missoula ask the community to keep all roads and pathways clear, respect local businesses, and practice social distancing if watching from any public location on the 4th of July.
