July 4th & 5th 2019
On July 4th, Visitors to Lolo Pass will be treated to traditional Nez Perce oral stories being told by Nez Perce tribal member, Bessie Walker. Bessie has an Indian Language Certification from the State of Idaho as well as the Nez Perce Language Tribal Certification. As a life time student and a teacher of the Nimiipuutimtki dialect on the Nez Perce Reservation, Bessie has been an active proponent of promoting and preserving the Nez Perce Language and culture. Please join her for family friendly story telling. Programs will be at 9:00, 12:00 and 2:00 (Pacific time) on July 4th and at 10:00 am (Pacific time) on July 5th.
