Join us for our first herb walk of summer on Missoula's newest trail! As things are starting to heat up, we are very excited to take folks a little further afield to Skyline Ridge up Pattee Canyon. There we'll be sharing our knowledge about different edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms in the area, with a stronger focus on those in season at the moment. Identification, foraging techniques, and modes of preparation will be covered as well.

We will meet at the Skyline Ridge Trailhead (see map below) where we’ll all introduce ourselves and take a quick peek around before heading off on our walk. Bring your questions, a notebook and pen if you like, and plant identification books if you have them! We will also have a handful for folks to borrow.
