Summer Learning Program: Bear Basics - Living with Montana’s Grizzlies and Black Bears
Learn about the bear necessities as Elissa Chott from the Great Bear Foundation gives a presentation on bear biology and ecology, how to identify bear foods and sign, how to recreate safely in bear country, and how to properly store attractants to keep both bears and people safe (tracks, hides and skulls included). Capacity is limited and preregistration is required to secure a spot. This program takes place in the Cooper Room on Level 4.
