In 1933 Missoula saw an influx of young men from all over the country as Fort Missoula became the regional headquarters for the Civilian Conservation Corps. Join Historical Museum at Fort Missoula staff for an exploration of the CCC through historic photographs and artifacts. The talk will cover how the CCC began, the projects that our local CCC camps completed, and the impact of the CCC infrastructure on the role of Fort Missoula during WWII.
