Description:
Arts & Above’s WHERE THE WILD THINGS MOVE
Youth Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:
A performative journey with movement, action, and props. Where imagination is unleashed. Come with us!
Directed by Arts & Above Co-Founders Kate Jordan and Bruno Augusto,
students will spend a week developing a performance. We will dance. We will create our own story. And we will present for the public.
The directors will pull from a variety of movement approaches, including Tai Chi, Capoeira, Cuban Modern Dance, GYROKINESIS® exercise and games with props, that will increase self-awareness, self-confidence and team building.
The material presented throughout the week is progressive, so it is important that students attend each day.

*older and younger students invited upon conversation with the directors.
