The Back Country Horsemen of Missoula invites families and children of all ages to A Carousel For Missoula on Saturday, June 19. BCH Missoula is sponsoring free rides on the historic carousel from 10 AM to 2 PM! A Carousel For Missoula has re-opened to the public as of the last weekend in May.

The Missoula chapter of the Back Country Horsemen of America has over 50 members and is dedicated to promoting the safe and sustainable use of backcountry resources by both equestrians and the general public. While the chapter mainly hosts members-only events, this event is free and open to the public. Back Country Horsemen of America is “a nation-wide organization that is committed to protecting the access of equestrians to public lands.” Local and state-wide chapters exist across the United States.
