Did you know cats love reading?
Well, they may not know how to read, but they sure do love being read to! Storytelling to cats is a great way to help them acclimate to their environment and gain more trust with humans. The rhythmic sounds and companionship can bring a lot of comfort to felines in the shelter.
Would you like to read to some kitties? You're in luck! The Missoula Public Library is hosting their very own Bookmobile at AniMeals on Saturday, June 14th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. We will have ice cream treats for this summer rendition of Bookmobile with AniMeals! Readers of all ages are welcome to join us in comforting the shelter cats of AniMeals! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
