The ZACC is delighted to team up with the Missoula Butterfly House & Insectarium for a special edition of Drink & Draw: INSECTS at Western Cider!
Get up close and personal with the fascinating world of arthropods as you sketch preserved and live insect specimens curated by the Butterfly House team. From brilliantly patterned butterflies to mysterious beetles?and maybe even a friendly live bug you can hold?this is a unique chance to explore the beauty and complexity of insects through art.
Specimens will be displayed on tables throughout the taproom (or patio, weather permitting) for easy, up-close drawing. A separate station will feature live insects for those feeling curious and brave! ZACC staff will be on hand to offer drawing tips and encouragement, and we?ll provide sketching materials free of charge. So enjoy a cider (or two) and come observe the small wonders of the insect world! Western Cider has graciously offered to donate a portion of every cider sale to support the Zootown Arts Community Center. This free event is perfect for nature lovers and the nature curious alike -no art experience necessary!
