Turn a discarded book into a work of art. All books and art materials will be provided as well as enthusiastic support! Fun for all ages. You can also take home any books whether you altered them or not. This summer, MPL again teams up with the Western Montana Fair with a Creative Reuse arts category for the Fair’s exhibition – Altered Books! Find this category in the Fair’s Exhibitor’s Guide https://missoulafairgrounds.com/2023-exhibitor-guide under Department 121-Creative Arts, Division B, Creative Reuse, Class 1 - Altered Books. Prizes are awarded to different age groups, including one Friends of the Library Choice award. Deadline to submit your Altered Book art in the Fair’s exhibition is Friday, August 4 at 5 PM.
