A dance and visual piece performed by Kate Jordan and Bruno Augusto of Arts & Above.
“The Things” is a provocative piece performed as a duet with bright green milk crate props which are configured and repositioned in various combinations during the 50 minute production.  It asks the audience to contemplate the objects and thoughts which we may collect, build, destroy, hoard, choose to use in different ways.  It asks How much is enough? Too much? Isolating?  Liberating? 

Intended to evoke curiosity and questioning, more than answers or opinions, it is a journey of two individuals through shifting environments, and states. How linear their journeys are, and whether they influence one another, is left to the viewers imagination. Kate and Bruno simply desire for people to take in a duration based live performance; allowing themselves to be swept into the questions and dreams it may provoke.
