How to Utilize Your Mushroom Field Guide

First in a two-part identification lecture taught by long-term WMMA member Egan Jankowski-Bradley; a microbiologist specializing in fungal research and utilizing fungi to solve issues in agriculture, forestry, and land restoration.

An introduction to fungi and mushrooms including the role they play in the northern Rockies ecosystem. Participants will gain familiarity with the use of a botanical key in identifying fungi, and learn the ecology and uses of edible mushrooms and how to learn to discern between edible and poisonous mushrooms.
