Silversmithing 102: Basic B: Sterling Ring with Bezel Set Stone

***pre-requisite*** Any of our Silversmithing 101 Classes or a demonstration of basic silversmithing knowledge.

In this Level 102 silversmithing class students will learn the basics of designing, fabricating, and completing a bezel set gemstone ring. Students will start from scratch, forming their shank and bezel to their freeform gemstone cabochon. There are only three spots available for this 8 hour workshop allowing for lots of student/teacher time. The class fee is $325 (which is paid today) Supplies included!

Students will learn the following techniques and build on techniques learned in the 101 class: -filing (continued and more advanced) -sawing -sanding -soldering -using the Oxygen/Propane Torch with instructor assistance -stone setting -finishing work.
Students should plan accordingly bringing snacks, comfy clothing, etc... bring a notebook!

*Please note if you are under 18 your parent or legal guardian will need to call or come into the shop to register and may need to be present during the class.
Cancellation Policy: Please note for our Silversmithing Classes we require 7 days notice should you need to cancel. Students will be offered a credit to use for the next time the class is offered. Should the price change the student is responsible for the difference. Cancellations 6 days out or less will not be credited.
