Mountain Home and The Runners Edge bring you Run Like a Mother 2019, a festive Mother’s Day three-mile run! Donations at registration and diapers collected at the event support young families served by Mountain Home. The race is on Sunday, May 12th starting at 8:30am on the river trail in front of the Boone and Crockett Club and ending at the Caras Park Pavilion.

The Run Like A Mother 5k is an inspiring, celebratory event that takes place in eight cities across the country each Mother’s Day on courses that wind through picturesque neighborhoods, scenic parks, and city streets. Moms, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, girlfriends, and everyone in between enjoying good memories, great atmosphere and a festive post-race party featuring food refreshments, and sponsor tents.

Mountain Home's mission is to provide a safe home and nurturing community where young mothers discover their strengths, and children thrive. Mountain Home provides shelter for young mothers (16-24 years old) who need a place to live, as well as a network of support as they create safe, stable, and nurturing homes of their own.
