MisosulaSOUP is a microgranting dinner, building community one creative project at a time.
SOUP is a microgranting dinner that builds community,
one creative project at a time.*
At a SOUP event, attendees pay $5-10 at the door for which they get:
* a simple dinner
* a short musical performance from an emerging artist
* and a VOTE.
The attendees vote to select one of four PITCHES (project proposals, made in 4 minutes or less and without using tech/AV). Proposals can be made by anyone, and can be about food, art, kids, science, gardening, technology, something else--anything. Pitchers have to be able to explain how their project benefits Missoula.
After voting is complete, the winning pitch receives all the donations from the door.
