Join CASA of Missoula for Missoula Gives May 6th & 7th! CASA of Missoula recruits, trains, and supports volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children in the court system until those children can find a safe, permanent home.
Studies show Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) volunteers positively impact children in the foster system in several ways.
Children with a CASA:
1. Spend, on average, 8 months shorter in foster care than those without
2. Are half as likely to re-enter foster care, and more likely to find a safe, permanent home
3. Get more help while in the system
4. Are more likely to succeed in school
5. Report significantly higher levels of hope
