How better to celebrate the Garden City's Heritage than at one of its oldest nurseries?! Gardens and history unite in celebrating Historic Preservation Month 2019 for the preservation event of the year, because in Missoula, our roots run deep.

Guest speaker Amy Webb, heritage tourism specialist and Senior Field Director for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, will discuss her 34 years of hands-on experience in preservation, heritage tourism and economic development including her work at the national, regional, state and local level.

This year May Historic Preservation Month takes on a new twist for awards! The Missoula Historic Preservation Commission is excited to unveil Missoula’s new Legacy Business Recognition Program, recognizing local businesses which have been in Missoula for over 100 years. Come celebrate Caras Nursery, Missoula Textiles, Bob Wards, Missoula's Office City and the Union Club Bar & Grill, for their dedication to the community for over a century.

Featuring live music by the Woodhogs, Cruz Taco truck, complimentary food and beverages, springtime flowers and more.
