Explore the art of cartography with FREE Junior Cartographer Art Classes at Xplorer Maps in Missoula on April 23, led by Paxon School Art Teacher, Keila Cross. This hands-on workshop encourages students to express unique perspectives through art and cartography while learning various artistic techniques.
The workshop offers three stations featuring Paper Mache activities, including map globes, wildlife, and upcycled creations. These activities are designed to foster connections between people and place, and to cultivate children's interest in art, conservation, public lands, and community involvement.
Come back on April 30 for the final session, where students will finish their projects and proudly take home their artwork!
