Teen Artist Workshop Description:
Have you ever wondered about the difference between poetry and spoken word? Come find out with spoken word artist Nicole Dunn, winner of the Montana Book Festival poetry slam in 2017. Using writing and visual prompts, Nicole will demystify the creative form of self-expression called Spoken Word, while focusing on the subject matter closest at hand: our own identity.

Teen Artist Workshops

4–6 PM, free, all materials and snacks provided.

This is a unique opportunity for teens to learn different techniques and methods from a professional artist and create artwork of their own. Teens work closely with professional artists in a fun and informal environment. Special thanks to the Good Food Store and the LEAW Foundation for supporting teens and art at MAM.
