Pursue Your Passions Business Basics courses empower women with a vision to take actionable steps to move their business or nonprofit idea forward. Our courses are online, and allow you to work on your own time. No need to be a UM Student, our courses are open to the public! Designed for women, but open to all.

Business Basics 1 gives you a basic understanding of the phases of a start-up through the growth phase. It provides next steps, summary, and feedback for your idea(s)! This course starts March 15th.

Business Basics 2 teaches you to hone the ability to pursue a business idea and put it through a set of tried-and-true models to move forward with this idea(s). You will also learn basic financial modeling and financing for your business. This course starts May 10th.

Why not take both? We are offering a bundle discount to those who register for both Business Basics 1 & 2 this spring.

We use a "pay what you can" model to make our courses accessible to more people in the community. Scholarships are also available!
