Join us for our newly added drawing class led by local artist Kaelee Thompson!

Kaelee Thompson, who will guide you through basic drawing materials and techniques with the assistance of botanical inspiration! Learn and practice skills such as composition, contour drawing, use of light and shadow, and shading techniques. In this class, we will work with plants as drawing reference to create sketches and illustrations. By the end of the class, you will have created your own graphite drawing of a plant or botanical element, and gained skills to continue to practice with in your sketchbook. Whether you are completely new to drawing or want a fun way to improve your skills, this class is for you!
