First Friday Starts at UM

Join us on Friday, March 6 for the latest First Friday offerings on campus.

Did you know that UM hosts a variety of art venues? The MMAC, Gallery of Arts, UC Gallery, are just some of the places to view installations on campus. Our goal in beginning First Friday Starts at UM is to help bring visibility to these spaces and facilitate connections between students and our broader community. Each month, follow updates on Instagram @FirstFridayUM and Facebook First Friday Starts at UM, for an easily accessible way to stay in the know on First Friday campus happenings.

Montana Museum of Art and Culture, 4-7 PM
Stop by the MMAC for a free public docent tour at 5 PM, refreshments, and exhibitions “ReAssessing Aden Arnold,” “InSequence: Geoffrey Stocking,” and “Rand Robbin.”

Gallery of Arts, 4-6 PM
Stop by the first floor of the Social Science Building to view the “SVMA MFA Candidate Group Show,” a multimedia exhibition featuring works created by twelve current Graduate students pursuing an MFA in Studio or Media Art.

Knowles Gallery, 4-6 PM
Stop by the 2nd floor of the Fine Arts Building to play community and student games from Global Game Jam 26, featuring video games and interactive media inspired by the theme of "masks."
