How Special Olympics is Fostering Int'l Systems Change Description:
Dr. Donna Bainbridge, PT, EdD, AT-Ret, has worked internationally with Special Olympics since 2001 as the Global Clinical Advisor for FUNfitness and Fitness Programming. In this role, she coordinated global development of fitness assessment and programming, and training physical therapists to host the FUNfitness screening in their countries. She also coordinates the World Confederation for Physical Therapy Network for Intellectual and Developmental Disability and is on the Steering Committee for the Health Promotion in Life and Work Network.
The Global Public Health Spring 2019 Lecture series features health professionals who work to improve public health around the world sharing their experiences and insights weekly during the Spring semester.
