Jim Sears, Professor of Geology at the University of Montana will talk about recent research that leads to new thinking about the famous horizontal shorelines on Mt Jumbo, Mt Sentinel, and elsewhere in this region created during the Ice Age by a huge lake that formed behind an ice dam on the Clark Fork River on the Idaho Border.
