Phil Seidenberg, will speak about his experience working in Zambia with implementing a program focused on Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) for HIV and Early Infant Diagnosis (EID) of HIV. He spent 6 years in Zambia conducting research focused on child survival, community case management of childhood diseases, technology and EID, and trauma. He is currently teaching at the University of New Mexico and is focused on clinical care and research in the Emergency Department Observation Unit. His research in Zambia is ongoing.
