DocShop: Producing for Impact Description:
This DocShop event occurs 2/25 at 12pm and will then be available to view anytime for the duration of the festival.

Does your film subject exist beyond the scope of your film itself? Join us for a case study discussion with filmmakers of festival selections Youth v. Gov and Manzanar, Diverted: When Water Becomes Dust on how they built and continue to build their robust impact campaign to accompany their film. Youth v Gov centers on the twenty-one youth plantiffs who are in the process of suing the U.S. government for violating their constitutional rights by their willful actions in creating and perpetuating the climate crisis. Manzanar, Diverted: When Water Becomes Dust follows Native Americans, Japanese American incarcerees, and ranchers fighting for land and water rights in Payahuunadü.
