Hip Hop for 7-8 years meets on Mondays from 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm

In this class for ages 7-8, we learn a range of hip hop moves, isolation, basic tutting, dance terminology and how to perform choreography! We work in partners and small groups to create our own routines, as well as learning to be taught in a big group to counts in the music. Class starts out with a learning target (ex: What is an isolation?) and a warm-up, and then we practice our hip hop technique learning moves through games and team activities, before closing class with a combination. We love to dance to a range of hip hop music from all around the world! Parents are welcome to come watch class. I look forward to my Mondays each week dancing with such a fun and fantastic age group!
