Poet and former UM professor Prageeta Sharma is returning to Missoula for a brief visit! Montgomery Distillery is thrilled to host her along with poet Sarah Aronson, host of MTPR's wildly popular literary show and podcast, "The Write Question." Both have new books out, so this is our chance to celebrate their marvelous work.

Prageeta Sharma is the author of the poetry collections Grief Sequence (Wave Books, 2019), Undergloom (Fence Books, 2013), Infamous Landscapes (Fence Books, 2007), The Opening Question (Fence Books, 2004), which won the 2004 Fence Modern Poets Prize, and Bliss to Fill (Subpress, 2000). She is the founder of the conference Thinking Its Presence: Race, Creative Writing, Literary Studies and Art. A recipient of the 2010 Howard Foundation Award, she has taught at the University of Montana and now teaches at Pomona College.

Sarah Aronson is the author of And Other Bodiless Powers (New American Press 2019), selected by Andrew Grace for the New American Poetry Prize. Her poems have appeared in the Big Sky Journal, FlyFish Journal, and elsewhere. Her nonfiction is available in the anthology We Leave the Flowers Where They Are and Anglers Journal. She hosts the Montana Public Radio program and podcast The Write Question.
