Trekker Kids @ Travelers' Rest: The Journey of York Description:
In honor of Black History Month, learn the incredible story of York, the only enslaved member of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Together, we'll read the "Journey of York: The Unsung Hero of the Lewis and Clark Expedition" by Hasan Davis, and then do an activity that allows us to travel with York for part of the way.

When: Saturday, February 22, 11am - noon.
Where: Travelers' Rest State Park in Lolo

This event is part of Trekker Kids, an ongoing series of FREE activities geared toward kids ages 5-10 and their families. Join us every other Saturday from 11am to noon to explore the rich cultural and natural history of western Montana and Travelers’ Rest!
