Michele Sare, MSN, RN has dedicated the majority of her 40 years of professional life to improving health in rural and resource-poor communities. She founded Nurses for Nurses International Foundation, which works to close the gap between disparity and inequity in healthcare in rural and resource poor communities in Haiti, Montana, Mongolia and Nicaragua through the skill, knowledge, attributes, and strengths of the world’s largest professional healthcare workforce…nursing, the profession of care.

The Global Public Health Spring 2019 Lecture series features health professionals who work to improve public health around the world sharing their experiences and insights weekly during the Spring semester.
