Artistic Director and co-founder of Kartemquin Films Gordon Quinn returns to Big Sky to share wisdom on a lifelong career in documentary filmmaking. Sparking democracy through documentary since 1966, Kartemquin is a collaborative community that empowers documentary makers who create stories that foster a more engaged and just society. Quinn will be joined by Big Sky Documentary Film Festival founder Doug Hawes-Davis to discuss Kartemquin’s longevity in retrospect and their vision for the next 40 years.
