University of Montana cello professor Dr. Adam Collins presents an eclectic program of delights for cello solo, cello duo, and cello and piano. Dr. Collins is joined by Steven Hesla on piano and Jessica Catron on cello.

Two sonatas for piano and cello bookend the concert: Debussy's only one and Brahms' magnificent second (in F Major). Filling in the program are an amazing two-cello arrangement of Bach's landmark Chaconne in D minor from the second Violin Partita and Saariaho's iridescent suite of "Seven Butterflies" for solo cello.
