Description:
Learn the art and science of proposal writing and other aspects of grantsmanship, including funder research, budgets, and effective proposal writing. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced grant writer, this course uses hands-on practice in a workshop format to provide feedback on your work and improve critical editing skills. As we explore the different elements of grant proposals, students will produce a grant for a nonprofit organization and get feedback on different sections as they are developed each week. This focus will be on the practical structure of proposals and mechanics of strong writing and issues such as project sustainability and evaluation.
