The Arts :: Art Show
Textile Translations Gallery Opening
5:00 PM (America/Denver)
Zootown Arts Community Center
Description:
The ZACC is excited to present ‘Textile Translations’, works by artists from Western Sensibility – Missoula’s digital textile printing studio specializing in sustainable, life-friendly textiles designed by contemporary artist – in our Main Gallery for the month of February, opening First Friday, February 3 from 5 to 8 PM.

Western Sensibility was founded by a third-generation textile printer to operate at the cross-section of art and science, and they honor art and process equally. The studio is rooted in the belief that digital textile printing technology fosters ambitious design, and it's their mission to champion the vision of the artist and usher that perspective into your home – without compromise.

Based in Missoula, Montana, Western Sensibility is the reimagination of what a modern textile printing studio can be. In collaboration with contemporary artists and a focus on environmental sustainability, organic textures, bold and dynamic color and design, Western Sensibility is privileged to honor your home by creating textiles that speak to your spirit.

Artists featured in this exhibition are: Anka Lavriv, Anomal Press, Big Sky Bandits, Courtney Blazon, Mickey Haldi, Monica Gilles-BringsYellow, Stella Nall, Tyler Krasowski, and Tracy Lin Hall.
