Mike D. Huberman is based out of Missoula, Montana. He creates dynamic, realistic space landscapes using spray paint and unique methods. Huberman's artwork captures the pitted, rough, and strange textures one would expect to find on the surface of planets. No matter what the weather, Huberman works outside allowing the elements to constantly affect his artwork. He embraces spontaneity while mastering a preciseness in his accuracy of space.
“My inspiration comes from an original fascination with the universe as a kid. It also stems from obsessively watching NOVA documentaries about space, listening to podcasts about the cosmos and physics, and studying the works of theoretical physicist Michio Kaku, and astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson.”
