Event Detail

Bring the family to Lolo Pass for a day of fun in the snow. This is your chance to learn about winter camping, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, Avalanche Safety and trail grooming operations. Snowshoes will be available for all ages to try out and skis for youth to test out. Be sure to bring your skis and avalanche beacons if you have them. There is a great sledding hill behind the Visitor Center for little ones. Missoula Parks and Recreation, Missoula Nordic Club, Missoula Snowgoers, REI Missoula and the West Central Montana Avalanche Center will all be on site for the day.
